SPA TREATMENTS FOR CANCER PATIENTS We were extremely lucky to be invited to @vocostdavidscardiff hotel and spa for an overnight stay to review their new @ishgaskincare products and spa therapists who have recently qualified to give oncology safe spa treatments. The day was very relaxing and the treatments devine (Gemma had a facial and Laura had a body wrap). The therapists were super helpful and knowledgable putting us at ease and making us feel able to have the same treatment menu that they offer to all of their guests but with an added awareness of oncology side effects and treatment. We also used all of the hotel spa facilities - pool, sauna, hot tub and spa beds making for a wonderful experience all round. The therapists used organic seaweed skincare products from @ishgaskincare which were luxurious but kind to the skin. Our skin felt nourished and hydrated but the products weren’t heavy and they all had a beautiful mild aroma. As an extra treat we got to stay in one of their luxurious and comfy rooms in the hotel and were able to try their new menu in the newly refurbished restaurant Tir a Mor. They use all local produce and every course we had was delicious. A huge thank you to Su from @eatprmarketing and Lucy from @vocostdavidscardiff for organising this wonderful stay for us and to all of the team for welcoming us and looking after us so well. We look forward to working with them in the near future which could see us hosting a SS event in Cardiff in 2023. Watch this space.
