There were many occasions, even since I was a kid, that I’ve wanted to end my life for many reasons. I’m glad I waited around. Sure, there are days that I’m down in the dumps so hard I feel like I can’t get back up and/or I can’t fight the darkness. But I always look back to the life I have now than what I had before. I love my life right now. I’m thankful to have it, in good times and bad times. There is hope. September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
