Just hit the milestone of 2k followers for @scenario_808. I would like to express my sincerest thanks to every single person that has taken the time to check out a show. To every artist that has performed, massive thanks. While we’re only eight months in, I have been deeply inspired to see the momentum build so quickly given conditions. If you’ve stopped by in recent weeks, then you already know it’s been completely insane with attendance and subharmonic vibrations. Getting @scenario_808 off the ground has not been without its challenges. When we started planning the event series last Spring, we did not foresee the delta and omicron waves, nor the other complications that have made 2021-2022 the most difficult event planning landscape imaginable. Kind of a miracle we kept going but also a testament to the importance of intent when building community. While the comparisons to LET subsist, my man @tekdotlun summed it up best after his most recent set: “it doesn’t feel like a new chapter—it feels like a new book.” Amen.
