Huge news for Galaxy’s Edge. Starting April 29th, the timeline at Black Spire Outpost is officially expanding. For the first time, the land will bridge the gap between the original trilogy and the current era, bringing icons like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo into the fold alongside the Resistance. The atmosphere is getting a major upgrade too. A new background music loop featuring John Williams’ legendary scores will play throughout the land. Expect to hear the Main Title at the entrances, the Cantina Band near Oga’s, and Han Solo and the Princess while walking through the outpost. The character interactions are shifting to match this new era. Luke Skywalker will be roaming the land in search of Force artifacts, while Leia Organa and Han Solo will be found near the Millennium Falcon. In the Resistance camp, you can still find Rey, while Ahsoka Tano, Mando, and Grogu will continue to frequent the marketplace area. Several locations are also getting updates to reflect the change in time. First Order Cargo is being reimagined as Black Spire Surplus, and Dok-Ondar’s will begin rotating in new artifacts. Droid Depot will now be operated by an earlier generation of the Mubo family to fit the expanded narrative. #starwars #galaxysedge #disneyland Importantly, Disneyland confirmed that Rise of the Resistance will remain exactly as it is with no story changes planned during this update.
