“Freeing Myself” is a triptych series that stands as a celebration of my first steps towards inner healing. ⁣ ⁣ The series was created back in 2020 when we were all entering a confusing era, but for me was also a time to acknowledge unhealthy habits and make the effort to change. ⁣ ⁣ This series is extra special to me because it was also my first major step toward my journey as an artist and the style of imagery that I wish to carry.⁣ Rocio Martinez is a Mexican-American photographer and digital artist specializing in conceptual self-portraiture.
