We have some good news to share! ❤️ ⁠ ⁠ Kastellio is doing much better and is out of the medical unit at the Alabama prison. He isn’t 100% yet, but seems to be improving and smiling again!⁠ ⁠ The bad news is that the prison NEVER sent him to the hospital. He never got proper medical attention — it’s practically a miracle he is doing better.⁠ ⁠ The truth is that he would have been left to die if not for us pressuring officials to get him medical care. This was only possible because of YOU. ⁠ ⁠ Nearly 13,000 people signed on to our petition and made over 6,000 calls demanding that Kastellio get medical attention. We can’t thank you enough for taking action with us. ⁠ ⁠ We will keep fighting for Kastellio and every incarcerated person who is treated as less than human by our inhumane system of mass incarceration.
