We take a deeper dive into one of the newly developed treatments for SS23, the Iron dye. This treatment raised many interesting garments, including the notion of imprinting poppy flowers, wheat spikes and our signature cross in stencils by recreating the chemical oxidization process of iron on our fabrics. For the achromatization treatment, the process consisted of applying bleach to the darker fabrics, thus obtaining a monochromatic stencil effect. In contrast, the rust treatment was only used on light-colored fabrics. #macross #maurizioamadei
