Happy Birthday to Me!! I can finally announce that my comedy special “The Art of Being Gay” with @comedyinvasian will premiere on @nbcpeacock @peacocktv on MAY 1st just in time for Asian American Heritage Month! Super proud of this special because I really feel strongly that “The Art of Being Gay” (both in the definition of being homo and being happy... )is loving oneself and leaning into what brings joy into our lives. I feel great that I was able to use comedy, humor and storytelling to encourage joyful living in this special :) yay hoo! Of course I’m not perfect, I still make a ton of mistakes and have days where I’m like F*** this... But comedy is awesome in that it is an art form that celebrates imperfection... and so loving ourselves for where we are is the ultimate Freedom!!
