Had the pleasure of many lovely afternoons cooking in our KARIPOT with @grocerystories @amandip_uppal @chefandrewclarke our POT was brought to life via such different ingredients / bread, lamb, chickpeas- in the oven, on the hob and even on some hot coals @acmefirecult I learnt that the fact that it’s lighter than cast iron makes it a preference for Sarah’s bread baking @grocerystories and Amandip @amandip_uppal was surprised how quickly kala channa cooked in it with much less water (pot is porous and water is circulated!) and Andrew @chefandrewclarke told me how he left his overnight in the oven with pork jowl, but when we met he also showed me how to cook with it on coals! We’ve been slow to get our production up to speed and get recipes out, but such is the nature of the craft and how we work. Pre-order now for delivery in early October. Happy summer everyone!
