Upgrade your business 💇🏾‍♀️ In 2016 my salons were not charging appropriately for the work we were doing. The truth was, we really didn't know what to charge because we were doing so many new services, we had no idea how to plan or price them. One meeting, one of the Stylists asked if we could raise our public prices. This led me down a rabbit hole of trying to figure out why we would price something a certain way since we were still only charging $125 for a full highlight too ( which was really more like blonding a lot of the time). This was in 2018 and I still had some work to do to figure out how we could raise our prices, not lose clients and market everything the way it should be. This was the beginning of the Modern Menu Blueprint. Once we had more services that were better designed for the work we were doing, we could actually price them better. So many times it was like we were charging for a bang trim and doing a full cut or charging for a root touch up and doing a full color without even knowing it!
