I always had a certain interest in construction materials, not only because of its visual aesthetic but also because of its structural functionality. The design of Clothes Rail appeared as a result of my personal research and sampling of reinforced concrete in my small student apartment in Berlin. After using a concrete sample as a clothes rail at my home I’ve decided to produce a series of them to share my approach on designing everyday objects.
