DAWGS DAYTONA DEBUT!!! When I started at State one of my goals was to get these talented kids back on the competition stage! Our journey was nothing short of amazing. We took on two divisions our first year to ever compete at NCA College Nationals. Both teams were prepared, ready, and confident. Mistakes happen, but how we react as teammates and a family matters most. These kids, my kids, made me beyond proud on and off the floor. Their cheerleading speaks for itself and their hearts are second to none. I wouldn’t trade my Dawgs for a million wins. Congrats to the winners of our divisions— storied programs with long, rich NCA histories! As a proud Mississippi State Bulldog, I am PROUD of our first year attending NCA, this program’s first time competing in many, many years and we are bringing two third place finishes home to Starkville!!! And more than anything we represented State with beautiful cheerleading, class, and grace. Make no mistake, we will be back, better, and full of surprises. Thank you to the most amazing athletes for your relentless hard work, Dawg mentality, and being a true family. You make all my days the best and I couldn’t be more proud to be your leader.
