It was such an honour to be able to support Toronto's first Black Youth Gala by sponsoring both Building Community through Athletics and the Building Community through Art awards which if you know me, is what I try to be about through my work. These awards helped to shine a light on the amazing efforts of two incredible youth, @hannahfloresthepoet & Daniella Grant for all that have done for our city through their passions and crafts. Thank you @toyouthcabinet for putting this together. So excited to see where this goes in years to come. Hannah and Daniella you both should be so incredibly proud of the ways in which you’ve shown up for your peers and our city through your craft. Big love to you both. I am so proud of you. I always ask : if not for community then how? Happy to support where I can and I would encourage all that are able to do the same. 🤍
