When Princess Diana passed away 25 years ago, I was sitting with my best friend @lulut2011 celebrating her birthday at our favorite restaurant in Montreal, Buonna Notte. It was 31.08.1997. Every time I pass through a tunnel, I always think of her; how horrifying it was that she had to be chased to her death this way. When I reflect about the time she was alive, what strikes me most is the absolute courage it took for her to walk away from the most powerful family. She chose to follow her bliss, to own her voice and really did at the end what her heart told her to do, even if that cost her her life. I wonder if she was given the choice to live the lie she was living and live longer, or live the life she chose and die young, what she would have picked ❤️ . . #followyourheart #princessdiana
