3 years of officially dating my best friend @doctorford 💕 Our first date was on August 26th, 2019, and I told him he couldn’t kiss me🙊😎but he did make a move to hold my hand and we held hands during the concert, and I remember thinking “I love how his hand feels in mine”🥰 About a week later, he asked me to be his official girlfriend on September 4th. So I’m not sure in the anniversary rule-book, which day is our official “anniversary”🙈 I’m gonna celebrate everything! I noted everything from first date to first time he said “I love you”! To celebrate, Ian surprised me by recreating our first date where we went to The Greek theater. We didn’t really know the musician the night of our first date (Daniel Caesar) and last night it was Jackson Browne, where we, at least, knew a few songs😂 He then took me to El Carmen, where we ate Mexican food after the concert on our first date and we laughed and I thought he had the sweetest, cutest, gentlest, brown eyes😍 3 years later, at all the same places, but holding his hand with a deeper source of comfort, familiarity and love...knowing I was holding my best friend’s hand❤️ As we laughed at dinner, knowing we know the depths of each other, our collection of inside jokes and couple-isms, and how much I love him from his hands to his soul❤️ *Accidental video I recorded of us as dinner...might be one of my favorites from the night...just us sitting at El Carmen, talking and laughing❤️ Happy “4th year” kick-off!
