Notice these clips of great white sharks nearly making contact. White sharks do engage each other often, however, I've yet to see an actual tussle. My intuition says the tussles that do occur, happen at depth, but I can't say for sure yet. If any do happen at the surface, rest assured, I will document it. I see plenty of sharks with battle scars. The first clip shows a larger shark intentionally moving in on a bigger one. The second clip doesn't look intentional, but perhaps bad water visibility played a role? They can be territorial creatures, so contact does take place. The only way to find out? Is to keep observing.
