GOD DID 🙏🏾 Excited to announce that my labor of love is headed to television! When I first embarked on this journey of “Voices Unheard” it was simply to document the story of my great grandparents through the eyes of their children, grandchildren, and a dear family friend who has since transitioned.⠀ ⠀ ———⠀ ⠀ I wanted something for my future children to see where they come from should I decide to have any someday, something my family could be proud of, and something that shares just a piece of my Grandma Lau and Grandpa Moses’ journey in their fight as sharecroppers to leading the Black Farmers Movement in VA... I never made this with the intention of it making its way to television , but now that we’re here , this is only the beginning ... there are still so many of our stories to tell⠀ ⠀ ———⠀ ⠀ Huge shoutout to my co-producer @qui_marissa who helped me take this from an idea to a whole production - I’m forever grateful for you.
