Our third photographer featured in the new Photographer Highlights series is Bryan Garris, a traditional analog photographer currently living in Dahlonega, GA. He primarily works in the medium of black and white film and makes handmade silver-gelatin prints in his darkroom. Our cover image, "At the End of the Dead River", was taken in north Florida, at a tributary of the Alapaha River colloquially known as the Dead River.
He enjoys capturing the wild landscapes of Georgia and Florida while hiking and canoeing, as well as the deserts of Arizona and California, and most recently the Appalachian Trail.
You can read more about his work on our website under “Photographer Stories”. Link in our bio.
