Today I posed in front of a different type of lens. It wasn’t about glamour but about honoring my ancestors. I wore priceless family heirlooms that have been passed down or gifted to the matriarchs in my family. Today I wanted to give my ancestors their own moment to shine, and let me tell you they shined so bright! Their presence was so strong that they actually took over in two photos but I still found the beauty in the imperfections. I knew they surrounded me trying to squeeze into my photo and it reminded me I carry them with me everyday.❤️ We were still able to capture the “impossible shot” on the very first photo.
