My firstborn is 25 years old today. It feels like yesterday and also an eternity ago. God knew exactly who I needed and when she needed to arrive. I'm beyond grateful He trusted me to be her mother. Being my first, I made the most mistakes parenting her and I'm deeply humbled by her grace and forgiveness for me and that we are able to still be close in spite of everything.
