Cream Puffs 🤍 These cream puffs are a family favorite for a reason! They’re absolutely DELICIOUS, creamy and rich. My mom makes these every Christmas Eve and it just really wouldn’t be the same without them! Give them a try I promise they’re worth it! Ingredients: Dough: -1/2 cup butter -1 cup water -1 cup flour -4 eggs Cream Filling: -1 cup Vanilla Instant Pudding -1 cup heavy whipping cream -vanilla -2 tbsp powdered sugar Frosting: -1 cup powdered sugar -1/8 cup unsweetened chocolate -1 tbsp butter -2-4 tbsp hot water Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 400F. Heat water and butter to a rolling boil in a pot on medium high heat. Turn the heat to low and stir in your flour. Stir constantly until a sticky dough forms. Take off the heat and add your eggs. Beat each egg in one by one with a hand beater to prevent cooking. Beat until smooth about 1 minute. 2. Drop about 1/4 cup of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Shape the dough into balls with your hands. Bake 35-40 minutes until puffy and golden brown. 3. Make filling. Make instant pudding and set aside. Make your whipped cream by adding heavy whipping cream, vanilla and powdered sugar to a bowl. Beat with hand beaters about 4-5 minutes until medium peaks form. Fold in a cup of your pudding until we’ll combined. 4. Make frosting. Melt chocolate and butter together in the microwave. Add it into a bowl with the powdered sugar and water. Beat until it forms a thick frosting. Add more hot water if needed. 5. Assemble puffs. Cut each in half and pull out any soft dough. Fill with the cream filling and gently close. Top with the frosting. Chill in the fridge until you’re ready to eat and enjoy!! #creampuffs #profiteroles #christmasbaking #holidayrecipes #holidaytreats #baking
