Does the front yard count as leaving the house? 🤪 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• It’s been 3 weeks and 3 days since Oliver made his debut. We still have hard days, long nights, and I’m lucky if I get a shower in most days. But, we’re soaking up all of the sweet moments in between. Oliver’s favorite spot is the front yard. If he’s fussy or can’t quite seem to fall asleep, we just walk outside, let the sun gently kiss his little feet, and suddenly he is calm and his eyes filled with wonder. I trust it means we have a little nature lover in the making 🥰 He is also obsessed with being as close to us as possible, so baby wearing is pretty much constant. I practiced with @sollybaby wraps as soon as we got home from the hospital and they’ve been my go-to for around the home. (I promise they’re super easy to use once you’ve practiced a couple times in the mirror)! I’m wearing Ollie here in the Rising Sun wrap. We have a few other baby carriers in our arsenal so I wanted to share our favs: 💕 @ergobaby “Omni 360 cool air mesh” has been our go-to for hot summer days. It’s super supportive and keeps baby cool. 💕 @artipoppe is our other go-to for style and functionality. Their carriers are beautifully designed and grow with newborns until they’re 40lbs! 💕 @lalabubaby makes the “Dad Shirt” you might have seen in my stories—Meyer wears it every day and Oliver loves it! I also got their “Kerrier” for when he’s a little older. And lastly, my dahlias are in full bloom so having fresh cut flowers all over the house makes me so happy!
