The lighthouse stands 12 meters high and a whopping 49 meters above sea level. Having such a tall focal height allows visitors to enjoy great views over the ocean and the mountains on the other side of the fjord. Oftentimes, visitors of the iconic yellow lighthouse report seeing whales and fishing boats.
