#MedalMonday - Ultra Edition. After a strong training block I felt ready to take on the 50k @she_ultra race in the stunning Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. I really worked on my strength game with a fantastic Discover Strength programme from @joslynthompsonrule and additional classes from @jermainejohnsonuk. This block was mainly pace target @pelotonstudios classes from THE BEST coaches- Jos, JJ, @susie_chan_ , @jeffreymce @jon_hosking @hannahfrankson @becsgentry @la_tiamariana & @mattwilpers . A LOT of classes were taken at my happy place #PSL. I really didn’t know what time to anticipate as trails are unpredictable, but using paces from my trail runs I knew I could do sub 10 hours, with the best time being 8:30. To come in at a number that started with an 8, after some #beautifullybrutal technical terrain was emotional, and I was still able to cross the line in 8:59 (at 5k pace🥰) with the biggest smile on my face. Thanks are due to the team on the course - phenomenal, and THE BEST support crew who were with me virtually all the way - you know who you are - love you loads😘. Now to recover like a boss
