Here's the thing, if fear causes anxiety & anxiety is a fear based emotion, It makes total sense to feel afraid when anxious but what is really happening here?
.
If you are now afraid of that fearful feeling, or & now afraid of the sensations of the body, providing you with everything you need to fight flight or freeze the thing you are frightened about "the danger"
.
The mind has to identify a danger🧠"what happened there? Where is the danger? We need to identify it, oh we felt anxious, we felt our heart racing, its us! Its our body, its our mind the danger!😬
What does that mean?
It means that the mind will be focused on the danger, your body, mind.

So if you feel twinge🧠says" focus, danger, start the stress response, anxiety"
.
If you feel anxious from the primary causes🧠"we feel anxious, danger, start the stress response, anxiety"
.
You get stuck afraid of anxiety & fear causes anxiety, so yes you feel like you are having a dangerous moment all day. I know I was in it. In that circle, afraid of anxiety, of me, my body, my mind of EVERYTHING

I have to say being in the circle is normal & understandable because I know how you got there & also how to get out.

So the first thing you need to do, is accept you are experiencing anxiety, then validate how F****** hard it is to be stuck in that circle. Its hard, exhausting, heart breaking, you feel like the you you knew is gone & life has been replaced overnight with anxiety.

You must first take away some of the initial fear that there is something wrong with you. THERE IS NOT, you are not the problem & anxiety is not the problem. The initial causes are the problem & we can work on those. Anxiety is the response that is working fine, just fine, but you need to know where the door is.
