Foodie highlights from our visit to @thealpinagstaad where you can tuck into rustic regional dishes as well as Japanese cuisine and executive chef @martin_goeschel genius zerowaste pizza and pasta dough made by drying and grinding surplus sourdough from breakfast into a delicious tasty flour - with products soon hitting supermarket shelves. Applaudable is the vacuum and clingfilm free kitchen, instead using reusable and compostable alternatives. Additionally, all suppliers deliver food in returnable boxes, so goodbye to carton and polystyrene boxes. Working mostly with food suppliers within 40 kilometres ensures the delivery routes to the hotel are kept as short as possible to reduce food miles. Honey is so local the hives are in the grounds.
