Yesterday I decided we needed to put a pause on work to be refreshed and be present with family. I also decided to pack up dinner and bring it to my mom and dads house to share last night- best decision I could have made during this busy season. Laughed harder than I have in so long with Willie, my brother, and mom/dad. It’s amazing how refreshing it feels to make space to laugh so hard that your falling over and ugly laughing. No really, to make space to let God refresh you with a day of rest. Working from home, sometimes it’s easy to let work consume. To not schedule a day off. Even when you try to have a day off the work is still there in your same space. To be on the same page as a family and commit to a day of rest and let God do the refreshing, is abundant with blessings. 💛 There might be pumpkin pie filling in my coffee.
