Consider this a dinner party. The first of many dinners to come designed by @the.salbs.edit, bringing together different creatives in her life. A dinner to awaken all of the senses, down to the herb centerpieces that later became the garnishes to the food.
To start: cucumber herb shochu daiquiris with cilantro, thai basil, and mint.
A play with your food salad course where we decorated our own plates of purple + yellow veg. The yellows: curried golden lentils, saffron coconut corn milk sauce, golden beets, pickled ginger. The purples (or reddish purples): yuzu + lemon drop pepper dressed purple cabbage slaw, red beet, roasted purple cauliflower, pickled + raw red onions.
A Szechuan peppercorn palate cleanser before Chinese 5-spice rubbed pork ramen with all the fixins. And jasmine panna cotta, green tea chantilly, coconut caramel, and coconut water granita as a sweet treat🍨
