Jack Malaby’s Portraits of Azul is a showcase of black and brown artists’ works of art using the color blue as exploration of racial representation. The installation features other artists of color, spanning from painters to musicians to DJs. Jack Malaby is an upcoming photographer in the Jersey City and Philadelphia area. His style is ingrained in a deep connection between culture and color. Born and raised in Jersey City, Jack came from a background of West Coast Chicano parents who moved to the East Coast to play jazz.
