As a mutable sign, Virgo exists in the transition of seasons. This grounded Earth sign brings with it a practical, clever, and hardworking energy prepping us for the harvest of Autumn. As someone with a weak Mercury in Pisces, I can definitely use the boost of Mercurial energy these perfumes will give. Historically, herbs and vegetables linked to Virgo are often used to help with any digestive issues. Flowers were not hugely ornamental, though small blue and purple flowers are most commonly linked. This sign is used to working behind the scenes, doing crucial work. So what do the perfumes chosen smell like?

Sheep Meadow - Thin Wild Mercury Almond and lavender are both associated with Mercury. This is an incredible aromatic green gourmand perfume with a lot of creaminess. Gorseland - Jorum Studio This stemmy and grassy green apple perfume features chamomile and wild flowers, both linked to Virgo. I previously featured Gorseland in my Leo tray!
No 101 - Fischersund With a concept around the transition of seasons, I had to include this. Smelling like an overgrown lawn, No. 101 uses parsley (a digestive aid) as well as pine, which in some literature is associated with Virgo or Mars. Was used in my Cancer tray. Sanrovia - Blocki The perfume of the summer - has been in both the Cancer and Leo trays! Sanrovia is a rich aromatic perfume with a blast of citrus and a warm base. Tranquil lavender works wonders with the geranium. Under the Mango Tree - Anjali I wasn’t ready to put this one away, and was happy to see pine as a listed note. This is a grassy unripe mango perfume that refreshes with rosewater, working perfectly in that late summer heat. Also used for Leo. Grasslands - Paraphrase A favorite of mine, this tobacco perfume features rosemary, another digestive aid herb. An effortless reach, this perfume feels like walking through a field of tall, dry prairie grass. Rital Date - Versatile Paris This savory gourmand perfume has it all, from fennel, to pistachio, to rosemary - all associated with Virgo and Mercury. Wearing this feels like eating pesto pasta outside among cypress trees. Dark Amber Pomegranate - Shay & Blue The myth of Persephone is associated with Virgo, the Maiden. This spicy amber perfume features pomegranates in a not too sweet or fresh way, which is perfect for late summer transitioning into early fall.
