FOUR WEEKS TO PUB DAY😶‍🌫️ Not my best or most aesthetic shot but it was the first one I took of my babies together so it’s special. Now that we’re entering the countdown to my sophomore novel coming out (😵‍💫) I wanted to take the time to say thank you to those of you who have cheered for me, Aaron, Lina, Rosie and Lucas🙂 I know I’m someone who has a loud and cheery media presence, and you won’t find me sharing serious stuff here (except for my very serious love for the Cullens). So today might be a bit of an exception. This journey has been a very dramatic and intense learning curve, and there has been good days, amazing days, dream days, bad days, sucky days, and days in which I can’t simply keep up with myself. I am not only learning a profession I never knew or prepared myself for, but I happen to be relearning myself. This might be a badly translated expression, but to put it someway, I’d spotted the ears of the wolf crippling anxiety can be, and it’s not pretty. The past weeks have been hard. And now that we’re approaching release day, it’s all a bomb of conflicting emotions. But this is life, isn’t it? You live, you struggle, you persevere and you try your best to to do your damn best. Anyways, what I’m trying to say is that I am not some cute and sexy AI who’s programmed to write, please everyone and post about it on ig. (Yes, I thought I’d get away with calling myself cute and sexy.) But the thing is that no author really is (although the possibility has my head spinning. AI romance?). Nobody is. We all struggle. Some talk about it and some don’t. So if anything, I ask you to keep that in mind and be gentle. Be kind, even when you are behind a screen 🙂 and read romance books. Lots of them.
