Japan, 愛してる. Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima brought a sumo match, an F1 race, a highly active volcano, beautiful sights, and many incredible meals with unrivaled hospitality. I held back nothing. I ate all the sansho soft serve and tried every umeboshi drink and snack I could get my hands on. I trotted out my extremely middling grasp of the Japanese language with abandon. The enthusiasm was returned to me twofold. I also rekindled my strange affinity for claw machines (won immediately on almost every try) - even gathered 3 shrimp tempura keychains AT THE SAME TIME. One claw machine derailed itself while I was playing in a seeming effort to stop my aggressive prize accumulation. The attendant gave me a play on another machine, which I won.
