Friendly reminder for your feed that your natural hair IS professional and you should never feel the need to change it for any job🤍 One thing about me is best believe I'm going to wear my natural hair out even on it's bad days to work Fun story: I work with preschoolers and the first time that I wore my curly hair all out, a little girl told me that I looked funny with my hair that way. I communicated gently and reminded her that all hair types are beautiful and it wasn't so nice say things like that to people because it could hurt their feelings The next time she saw me with my hair out, she told me my hair looked beautiful🥺 This reminded me how important it is to educate little ones on being accepting of people that look different then them. They are so smart and this can help change their POV in a positive way when meeting other kids/adults with different features and ethnicities.
