Presenting my @lajazzsociety new note commission this Friday for the @angelcityjazz festival! I wrote a 5 piece work entitled ‘the women who shaped me’, each piece inspired by an influential woman in my life. The band will include @lo.kane.kittens, @christinagalisatus, @tinaraymonddrms, Devin Daniels, @echiltontrumpet, and @oldmcjonald and we are sharing the bill with the incredible @myramelford fire and water quintet. Grateful for the opportunity to write this music and to share a bit of my life through these songs. ❤️
