me and my baby kitty for @nyxcosmetics, im so grateful to have been a part of it and this moment in enby history. before I knew how to explain the way I experienced the world, I was just known as the weird kid who talked a lot with whoever they got comfortable with, but now that I have the language, I can truly say that realizing my identity saved me and showed me a new freer way of living. its not a trend, and not just a costume or a box to be placed in, its a way of living your life and translates in all mediums of expression. makeup is just one avenue of this expression. all of this to say this isnt just a moment for me, its a genuine and free way of living and as someone who’s freelancing, a musician, and queer, I live my life in a nonbinary, atypical way that offers me the freedom I deserve and crave, in a place that champions freedom but doesnt practice it. thank you to my love, im so grateful for them for accepting me as I am and allowing me to come onto this project with them. thank you to the nyx team for inviting me and showcasing our love in such a pure way, and for taking a chance on us. we’ve already gotten this far, and I fully intend to make this life worth it!! I’m literally just some 22 year old enby from ozone park queens!! be weird and free!! theres no shame in being yourself and you dont ever have to change unless its changing you into your most authentic and free and happy self (as long as u arent hurting anybody else)!! do what you can!! we’re all humans having a human experience, and even if showcasing nonbinary people + nonbinary love is a step, I hope that it gives us more room within ourselves to break down the individualism and whatever walls that separates us from one another 🧡 thought this was way better than a “love wins 🏳️‍🌈” lol. also I absolutely loved the chats I had with @jezzchung and meeting @corywalkers and @yung.merlot we killed it!! and of course a huge thanks to @james_emmerman for directing so well such a huge campaign. love yall.
