STUDIO CITY - It took twenty members of the @LosAngelesFireDepartment using hand tools and hose lines more than two hours to safely access, confine and fully extinguish a half-acre of stubborn flames in deep mulch, grass, vegetation and debris within the interchange of the Hollywood (US 101 / SR170) and Ventura (US 101 / SR134) Freeways on August 12, 2022. Though there was a need to temporarily close some lanes of traffic on the busy freeways, no structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported. 📷: Mike Meadows
