As a hairstylist this is something that can happen so easily in the salon...a little bit of color left of your brush that turns purple while you’re doing highlights. Or when you’re doing a root touch up and there’s a little bit of lightener left on the brush. HACK! In the salon I use light color bowls and brushes for my lightener and dark color bowls and brushes for my color. My favorite are @frommpro’s Color Studio Tint Brushes from @marlobeautysupply! This is a foolproof system to avoid any little mixups in the salon. Share with your staff!
