Mexican eatery @taqueria_ramirez_ is teaming up with seafood shop, @greenpointfish, to give us the ultimate seafood Taco Tuesday (tomorrow) August 16, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (or until the menu sells out) at Greenpoint Fish at 114 Nassau Ave. Chefs Orion Russell from Greenpoint Fish and Lobster and Giovanni Cervantes from Taqueria Ramírez have created a special menu, which features a variety of playful fish tacos and more including monkfish al pastor, scallops Ramírez, and a tuna tostada. When asked who initiated the collaboration, Taqueria Ramírez said, “We both did!” Taqueria Ramírez told Greenpointers that Chef Orion is a regular at the taco joint, and that the team at the taqueria loves Greenpoint Fish’s seafood, so both parties were very interested in participating.
