« In Scorching Sun », an exclusive digital work I made with @krista.kim for #D3signCapsule by @elledecorationfr orchestrated by @yotse right now exhibited at the Hotel de Soubise au Musée des archives during the @parisdesignweek I was very honored to work with @krista.kim on this project, Krista is an artist I admire a lot. Founder of Techism Movement, Krista’s philosophy recognizes technological innovation as an artistic discipline. For this project, after meeting in Paris, we decided to create one of my serpentine sculpture lamp into glass which seems the most noble material to give life to @krista.kim soothing gradient. The digital work is titled « In Scorching Sun » appearing again in a glitch as if « uploaded » in the scenery, this work is an allegory about climate change. The disappearing of the ocean blue lamp could be viewed as evaporating under the scorching sun reminding us to not take our water for granted. From the digital piece a physical prototype was blown in Biot, South of France, city famous for its glass mastery. The collector of the digital work will receive the physical working prototype. #D3signCapsule is a project curated by @yotse of 16 collections of NFTs created in tandem by renowned architects & designers with great digital artists.
