About a year ago I started working on something so large I was truly unsure it would work out. I used up every scrap of clay in the studio and it consumed me for the past several months. Getting ready for this month’s show with @rwguildgallery, I knew it was a big gamble given the limited time for building, drying, firing and sculpting everything else I had wanted to make...but I knew I had to make a push. I poured my heart into this sculpture, literally blood sweat tears (and some toes). It was a humbling experience to see this through...but sometimes ya gotta risk the biscuit.
