It's really expensive to produce scripted narrative content. As one of the few YouTube channels left that primarily makes sketches and short films, we're always asking ourselves why are we spending so many resources on highly produced "skits"? When all the rules of YT and social media encourage something else, and especially with new platforms like tiktok and IG Reels? But we just can't resist. This is what we love to do as creators. So we find any way to keep it going. We do commercial work, we make branded videos, we do speaking events, we sell merch... all to put back toward our short stories. The last couple years, we've been a bit spotty while restabilizing as a business through the pandemic. But this year, @chanman325 kick started a new system that's allowed us to put a renewed focus back on our independent sketches and short films, and I'm so proud of the team for stepping up in every dept. We've gotten new faces in front and behind the camera, new voices bringing fresh ideas, and we have so much more planned for 2023. All this on top of the commercial and branded side of our business.
