Some research even suggests that regular exercise may increase the size of the hippocampus, a region in our brain that helps regulate our #Stress response. Since prolonged stress may shrink the hippocampus, regular exercise may be a great way to protect against this effect. You don't have to do all your exercise or other physical activity at once. Try to find ways to add small amounts of physical activity throughout your day. For example, use the stairs instead of the lift, or consider cycling to work if that's an option.
