RECIPE: Kai’s Sushi Bake 🤠🍣✨
🫧 Ingredients: (*disclaimer* honestly...we just guessed how much we needed depending on containers we would be baking in 🥴)
cooked rice
imitation crab (shred yourself)
cream cheese
kewpie mayo
sriracha
unagi sauce (or teriyaki sauce if cannot find unagi)
furikake (ur choice)
individual roasted seaweed packets
bonus: sesame oil/sesame seeds
🫧 Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°-400° (however hot you want the oven to be in this range just keep in mind the hotter the faster the top gets scorched)
1) Get big ass (or medium ass) bowl to mix shredded imitation crab, cream cheese, kewpie mayo, sriracha together. ***Shred imitation crab meat by pulling apart like string cheese with hands or two forks and combine with cream cheese first before adding other condiments***
2) Oil the sides of the container ur gonna bake ur sushi bake in (or not) I personally love sesame oil but any other oil is fine
3) Put the cooked rice into the container and pat down
4) Add a lil layer of furikake + unagi sauce + sriracha (sriracha drizzles layer optional)
5) Pour in your imitation crab mixture and pat down then REPEAT STEP 4
6) Bake until top golden brown/how you like it (maybe 15-20min depending on that oven temperature)

Serve in slices according to portion desired and eat each bite (if you want) wrapped in a crispy roasted seaweed square from seaweed packets or cut seaweed sheets into smaller squares. ✨
