Many of you ask how you can help the #LAFD mission, and we're pleased to highlight the exceptional work of the non-profit @LAFDFoundation. An example? When summer temps soared near busy Fire Station 100 in Van Nuys, the crews withered, especially in the apparatus bay of the 61 year-old station many called a "brick oven", as the crews tried to train, sanitize, repair and maintain equipment to be ready for the next alarm. Thanks to the Rosenthal Family Foundation and people like you, the crew at FS100 now have a @bigassfans (yes, that’s the brand name) to make a BIG difference.
