My journey of infertility has been truly been a rollercoaster of hope, anxiety, loss, grief, healing and that process restarting with every pregnancy. After we experienced our 6th miscarriage, our OB “graduated” us to the Infertility Specialist & IVF Doctor. 1 in 5 couples in the US experience infertility and I have always shared my journey in hopes to help others feel less alone. While even contemplating the idea of IVF or infertility procedures was scary, for us and many families across the US it is a final beacon of hope. It is truly heartbreaking to know that IVF and Infertility treatments in the US are now under threat. Policies that could restrict access to IVF are looming and I strongly encourage you to research the stances on IVF and Reproductive Rights of all candidates before casting your votes this election. Some of you may never know you are infertile until countless attempts to Try To Conceive and IVF may be your best hope, let’s make sure it is still available if you ever need it!
