After completing his studies with the highest possible accolade and working in a prestigious salon, Batou moved to London to pursue opportunities in the fashion industry. He has a strong salon background and experience with all hair types and textures as well as wigs. ⁠ ⁠ With Senegalese and Guinea-Bissauan roots, Batou draws inspiration from his heritage as well as everyday life’s strangers and their hairstyles.
