Trust in God's timing; it's always perfect Back when I was just 10, a deep passion to make the world a better place took root in my heart, even though I had no idea where to begin. At the age of 14, I had the privilege of speaking for the first time on stage in front of 80 people with my dad. The vision was clear – to inspire people to live generously. Throughout high school, we traveled from city to city, sharing stories of generosity that we hoped would create a ripple effect of change, encouraging people to discover everyday giving opportunities. I even wrote my first book during high school, called "Everyday Generosity," and had the honor of giving two TEDx talks. While being on stage was a blessing, I began to feel God gently nudging my heart, encouraging me to take a step back, remove any pride, and remember that it's not about Drew. So, quietly, I stopped speaking and found myself behind the scenes, innovating, dreaming, creating, and discerning the direction to move in. Those years of speaking on stage pushed me to ask this question: How do we move kids and families from inspiration into action and instill values that truly matter in the next generation through purposeful giving? After considering so many ideas and products, God led us to the one He wanted, which is The Generous Kids Book Club. It's a monthly book subscription that teaches kids biblical generosity and values that will shape a better world. It's set to launch on December 1st, and you'll find my name nowhere near it. In fact, you'll discover a pen name, 'Betta Tugive,' instead. This is because it's not about me, my dad, or even Candace; it's all about kids understanding that God loves them so much that He gave His only son for them!
