DO YOU EVER TONE YOUR HILITES WITH AN ASH OR VIOLET TONER BUT IT IS STILL FREAKING WARM???? I’ve done it too... And it’s so annoying right?! When I finally understood that the tone of my canvas is part of my formula it changed my game! If you were starting with orange yellow... Orange yellow is a part of your formula. 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼If we truly want to eliminate warmth... We have to lift past it. 🍊🍊🍊Orange is where warmth is most visibly dominant because it is red and yellow... ➡️➡️➡️Check where your color brand says the undertone of orange/yellow lives... And make sure that you lift past that! ⬅️⬅️⬅️ 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼We need to lift to pale yellow in order to truly deposit cool. Pale yellow typically lives at a level 9 or 10 and it’s very easy to control. Bright yellow not quite as easy... Orange yellow...
