Lots of new friends here lately, so it’s time for an intro 🙋🏾‍♀️ my name is Les and I’m a west coast girly (via Seattle and LA) settling into the east coast. I also host a podcast called @balancedblackgirlpodcast that started off as a wellness show but now encompasses big sis vibes on just about everything. A few more fun facts: ✨ I’ve been creating content for 10 years now 🤭 I first started blogging in 2014 sharing fitness content and healthy recipes. I didn’t feel like I found my “thing” until I started podcasting in 2018. It’s been a slow climb and I’m still trying to get where I want to be. ✨ I was a corporate girly for 13 years, and recently left my job to focus on podcasting, getting over my corporate burnout, and trying other ventures. ✨ I was a bit of a sporty spice growing up, and played soccer, volleyball, and ran track. ✨ My dream job when I was younger was either being like Oprah, or doing pop culture commentary on VH1 (I miss those shows). ✨ The older I get, the more of my fiery Leo personality is starting to show and I’m just letting it happen.
