💓🎀💕🎀 I’m just a girl 🎀💕🎀💓 As a recovering people pleaser, auditing my circle and being around people who don’t try to dilute my personality/dim my light or try and tell me who I am (based on their own projections of who I should be), has done miracles on my mental health. It can be hard to discern the snakes, opportunists, enablers, and spineless bystanders...but just know the poison is being purged. The apologies gotta be louder than the disrespect, but sometimes... the disrespect closes doors an apology will never be able to open again. If you ever find yourself having to ask for the same grace you so freely give others who don’t recognize or appreciate it, they’re probably testing how far they can push and play in your face...but they know they truly aren’t doing right by you the entire time. Life will make you realize people will do you in ways you would’ve never even thought to have done them. Then, they will play victim and make you out to be the villain, without ever considering your reactions to their blatant disrespect. That group-think “neutral” bs is so ick. Sometimes, you realize people really don’t love you for real. They just know you’re a good person and only love you when it’s beneficial. “Real eyes realize real lies” LMAO No matter one’s titles or accolades, you will realize who understands the honor/principle of things and @badgalriri’s song with @kendricklamar “Loyalty” is gonna hit a whole world more. Songs really do be smacking more after certain life experiences. You can literally feel yourself radiate when surrounded by the ones who are right for you and who genuinely support your growth, healing, success, and happiness. Going into 2024, I’m beyond grateful to have met so many solid souls who have naturally gravitated into my lil universe within this little intersection of space and time. Energy doesn’t lie. If it ain’t adding up, subtract yourself, and see how good it gets. Your people will find you. You ain’t crazy, babyyy.
